Four original woven samples: simple stripe, mirrored stripe, all-over, and unique materials. Composition/color choice based on my own photos, incorporating themes of warmth, food, and community. Completed on a 4-harness table loom, straight draw, 22 EPI, 100% cotton warp, mixed wefts.
SIMPLE STRIPE
3/1 rib, 100% cotton, 86 PPI.
MIRRORED STRIPE
Plain & twill weave, 100% cotton, 30 PPI.
ALL OVER
Mixed right & left repeat twill, unknown fiber content wefts, 26 PPI.
UNUSUAL MATERIALS
Alternate basket & plain weave, second-hand shoe dust bags (cut into strips) & drawstring cords, ~1.5 PPI.
